I loved how the acorn hat looked--I wish I could knit that well.

Oh, my, the acorn's cap does look knitted, doesn't it?

I love the waves. We get clouds like that over the mountains sometimes. So pretty!

I like to mentally go swimming in waves like that, when I see them.

Oh my goodness, the acorn DOES look like it has a hand-knitted cap! That is adorable.

I have a hand knitted cap like that. Maybe I'm an acorn?

I like it that someone goes to the trouble of knitting little hats for acorns (not to mention gloves for foxes...)

Yeah, it's good that there are people in the world who perform these mysterious kindnesses :-)

It looks like a great day for sailing the sky-ocean! And I love how the texture of the acorn-hat matches the pattern below...

You could paint some white eyes on the acorn and it would look like it was in an oak minstrel show.

Or it could be just be a dark-skinned acorn person (rather than a light-skinned one who paints his skin dark).

Karl Ove Knausgaard, *My Struggle: Book 2*: "Stopped in front of an oak and stared up into the foliage for a long while. Pulled off an acorn and walked on, turning it round and round in my hands, studying it from all angles. All the small, regular patterns in the tiny, gnarled basket-like section in which the nut rested. Along the smooth surface, the lighter stripes in the dark green. The perfect form."

I love the sky-ocean. Mine looks a lot like that right now, though there's another storm moving in. I love those too, the way the water-ocean and sky-ocean get so churned up that the horizon blurs and you can't tell one from another.

The acorn is adorable. I may have to play with seed stitch in super bulky yarn to imitate it, now.

You must get just the most amazing, amazing clouds when the storms are coming. You could lose yourself, just watching clouds.

I would love to see what you come up with, with the seed stitch and bulky wool :-)
