That's how many I wrote on my story tonight! And I had *two* count them, *two* IM conversations.

So pleasant and happy--I will drift off and wash dishes now, all blissful in the late-night hour.

what story are you writing?

It's a fantasy story aimed at, I guess, young teens (well, the heroine is that age, but in fact I'm writing something I myself would be interested in reading, so not sure exactly what the target age is). Most of it takes place in a world in which different places are perpetually different times of day (so this land is always sunset, this land is always noon, etc.)

your story sounds interesting :)
do you have any published stories/books?

whenever i complete a small poem, i feel so refreshed :) i can't imagine writing a whole novel!

No, nothing published--no fiction, I mean (I used to write book reviews for Natural Health magazine, years ago). Since joining livejournal (not a year ago, yet!), though, I have been energized by some of my writer friends, and have become much more active, both with fiction and with poetry. I do hope one day to publish some fiction. The poetry I enjoy just sharing online. I find the format, the possibility to add pictures, etc., just so lovely! And you?

that's cool you wrote book reviews for Natural Health Mag. :)

i also enjoy the "energy" of sharing poetry and art with others.

some of my short-form poetry and woodblock prints have been published in a few online journals and a few print journals, but not many :)

i use to be the Traditional Haiga Editor for online publication:

it was enjoyable to meet many wonderful artists, poets, and to learn about the genre with some of the scholars :) one of my favorites being "Stephen Addiss".

good luck with your story-writing process!

Wow! Simply Haiku is an amazing journal--that's so impressive that you were the editor for traditional haiga! Boy, I really do feel lucky when I think of the people LJ has brought to me.

Glad you enjoy Simply Haiku. A friend of mine will be in their next issue! So keep watching for it to come :)

I feel the same way about my LJ friends. The internet has brought many people together in wonderful ways, making this world smaller, yet larger in rich friendships!

yeah, Laurel challenged me to join NaNo... and that inspired me to write more on this story... which I wouldn't/won't get any chance to work on if I did NaNo.

Life is so confusing!
