a boring entry

this is a boring entry, just to say, a soup of work, a veritable clam chowder of work, is keeping me from posting or doing much of anything interesting

(and yet... I'm not super productive with the work itself--go figure...)

but I want to tell superversive that I'm savoring the thought that I'll be able to reward myself--at some point! by reading his chapters

and I want to apologize to miafedup for chickening out on phoning the cell phone--I just was afraid that I'd get you at a bad time, or that I'd reveal myself in all my mundane, RL uninterestingness... hope you can forgive me

and sufitom, I want to reply to your speculation about that poem... next free moment (after this one), I promise!

and joybon, my most-fun moment this morning came when I was creating a little something that went out in today's post!

and amberdine--**thank you** for such fun with IMs!

good night, all--or good morning? Dawn will be coming soon, where I am...

Be not of _dis_ spirit, but lo, see outside--shineth not the sun? Glow not くれなゐ the leaves as they flutter past your window? そう、そう、 _dat's_ de spirit ! !

(sorry-- reading kids' stories 日本語で with the 3rd years, plus lack of sleep = somewhat whacky mori)

Sweetie! You never have to call me if it's too weird. Seriously, no worries whatsoever. I spend my life on the phone so it's like breathing to me. But it's not for everyone and I know that.

Hopefully, one day we will get a latte and talk eyeball to eyeball. Until then (or, even, if not), this works just fine. I'm just happy to have you in my world.
