Looked under the netting, and here's what I saw! They added up to a whole bowl (as in the userpic)

It's too busy, too busy these days... but what I'm going to write about has nothing to do with the busy-ness.

I tried to take a picture of the house wren parents flying in to feed their babies, but standing too near the box makes the parents anxious and I think keeps them from making their food deliveries, so I gave it up. I'll write down their progress, though.

I'd also like to take some pictures of the sky ocean these days--full of strange swirls and fast current and billows. This morning it looked very turbulent, so I suppose it's no surprise that soon it will be stormy.

... how can I marshal my thoughts when there's so much to do...? I'll try later I guess.

Years back when I planted a garden every year, I tried growing strawberries. I wasn't too successful, but still, every year even though I haven't planted a garden in some time, a couple of errant strawberries show up. It's quite nice.

Here's to marshalling your thoughts and being a little less busy.

Those "volunteer" plants and their fruits are the best, aren't they? Real gifts!

I hope to be less busy soon. I am reading Uncle Vanya by the way! and enjoying it--it's so *modern*! I'll write about it when I'm done.

Hi I will add you as a friend then.

I am not good at retelling. hmm. Let me do a search on it. I will see if I can find it. If not I will attempt to retell it here. peace.

here it is:

One day while walking through the wilderness a man stumbled upon a vicious tiger. He ran but soon came to the edge of a high cliff. Desperate to save himself, he climbed down a vine and dangled over the fatal precipice. As he hung there, two mice appeared from a hole in the cliff and began gnawing on the vine. Suddenly, he noticed on the vine a plump wild strawberry. He plucked it and popped it in his mouth. It was incredibly delicious!

I got this from here: http://www.rider.edu/suler/zenstory/cliffhanger.html
