Snape poll

The question gets lost in my previous entry, so here it is, all by itself:

Will Snape end up GOOD or BAD in the seventh book?

(and, if you feel like it...)

Why?

No one wants to be proven wrong. I for one think that while he was once bad and has sort of nasty tendancies, Snape has more or less reformed. He still has lots of hurt which is driving him towards evil, but he has also been trapped in a bad situation. That's my way of saying it's complicated.

Re: SnApE
But I think he will likely die or be seriously wounded.

Thanks! I'm sure it will be very complicated.

Well, you are too quick for me. I'm still on Book Four. That said, I know a little bit about this. Because one day I was innocently surfing when I ran across this site Spoiler Alert for anyone who reads as slow as I do!

But I'm going with good. I just can't think he could be so awful. He's saved Harry too many times for that. And I'm sure he'll have all sorts of regret over the Dumeldore incident.

My vote is good.

That is the funniest spoiler alert I've ever seen--that was AMAZING (and hysterical) and... I need more adjectives.

Thanks for answering!

It's a catchy tune, isn't it? :)

And I didn't know you were a Potter fan. I'm a nut for Potter but, for some reason, have lost interest the older they get. I think they were just so dang cute in the beginning...why can't kids stay 10 forever.

or at least I am hoping.
But, you never know.

Theory of ElderZen
A bit of wishful thinking, I believe.
Snape is good and Dumbledore is not dead. It may seem like Dumbledore is dead because he died. However, the lessons in book 6 focus on doing spells without speaking, so EZ believes that when Snape does the killing curse on Dumbledore, he is doing a counter/alternate curse in his mind (Snape being skilled at silent curses)....EZ cites a difference in the way Dumbledore dies as her evidence.....

Re: Theory of ElderZen
I hadn't thought about the possibilities that silent curses bring into play. I bet J. K . Rowling will do something with that--though I fear resurrecting Dumbledore may not be in the cards. We'll see.
