chasing nine things about oracles

starting in the middle, because this is how the magic of an Internet poetry quest works...
I read a poem,
in this case by shweta_narayan... and it took me back to a first poem,
by papersky, as well as to a talisman, created by elisem.
And then I started feeling dizzy because I realized the hunt was on--I will chase down nine things about oracles, and I have seen three so far.
And papersky points me to
a fourth
and a fifth
and then there is a sixth
and a seventh
and an eighth...
and number nine?
Maybe by later today there will be nine times nine.
An extra thing that makes this marvelous? Only shweta_narayan of these oracular LJers is on my friends list--so I have been traveling in unknown lands--with poetry as a map.
ETA: We have a ninth!
And another!
And another!
Let the waves come rolling in.
And then, too, there are the musings of an oracle, herself, here.
I feel...: excited

I have a ninth thing about oracles, but alas, I don't have it ready to post yet. :)
When you're ready, post, and I will link! I will link to every ninth thing that is posted (that I find)
There you go... another thing about Oracles! They change!
Neat! I had seen papersky's poem, but not the others.
It's an Internet treasure hunt.
Thank you for pointing me at all of them! What a richness.
hmm i will have to come back and figure this out...

I'm collecting them all in one huge post here, and am grateful to have more called to my attention. And also, haikujaguar is indeed of the goodness. signed, the maker of the shiny thing that, I guess, started this whole thing rolling... and so grateful to you all!
Wonderful! I'm going to come visit--and I'll tell readers here to check out the collection made by you, the spark of life for all this.

We're most of the way through the third nine, now.
Which means I need to pick a new language for the next set of numbers. I started with the one I speak, then went to the one my mother's people spoke in the old country, then the one my neighbor's people speak. Hmm. What next?
Japanese? ichi, ni, san, shi, go, roku, shichi, hachi, kyû, jû (written in Chinese characters 一、二、三、四、五、六、七、八、九、十
(which you'll only be able to see if your browser's enabled for characters, but...)
oops, I went up to ten :-P
